  • It would seem that the concept of Double Jeopardy impairs the justice system in a manner such that you must get it 100% right the first time. This in turn leads to over-kill &/or under-kill in issuing convictions & sentencing.

  • This appears to be a VERY SAD EXAMPLE of the justice & court system grasping at straws. It makes no sense. Just how does one drive 4600 miles in the short time alloted? IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. I would have thrown this case out for lack of evidence (assuming we saw everything).
